Club Lotto.
Last Monday’s winning lotto numbers were 6-13-22-28, and there was no winner. €20 winners were Nancy Hogan, Michael Geary, Michael Neville, Ava Twomey, and John McDonnell. Next week’s jackpot will be €2,550.

JFC Shamrocks 3-11, Kilgobnet 1-11.
Shamrocks Junior football team finished their group matches with a two goal win over Kilgobnet last Sunday in Cappoquin. With the quarter finals to come now, we finished 2nd in the table with 4 games won and 2 lost, and our likely opponents will be Tallow. With a welcome return from their travels, our team had a more settled look last Sunday,  we had a good spread of scorers with ten different players on the scoresheet, and two goals from Michael Lucey was certainly a big factor. Panel; Richie Murphy, Sean Murphy, Tommy O’ Donovan,Brian Harnedy, Ivan O’ Neill, Shane Roche, Liam Motherway, J.P. Lucey, Kieran Crawford, Chris Murphy, Edward Hynes, Billy Hynes, Alan Kelly, Shane Harnedy, Michael Lucey, Adam Crawford, Jamie Murphy, Liam Dalton, John O’ Donovan, Ciaran O’ Keeffe, Tim Lenehan, and Tom Goulding. Best of luck in the quarter finals lads, but as yet I don’t have a date for those games.

Best Of Luck.
I’d like to wish all our Leaving Cert players, male and female, the very best of luck with your exam results this week, and may you all get what you wish for going forward.

The Cats v. the Premier.
Hardly a novel pairing, but probably an unexpected one earlier in the year, it’s back to tradition in this Sunday’s All Ireland final with Tipp probably slight favourites, but write off Kilkenny at your peril! It’s a close call, but it’s the Premier for this pundit…
