Club Lotto.
Lotto draw 18/11/2019, tne numbers drawn were 4-5-16-21, and there was no winner. €20 winners were Dan Casey, Tom & Mary Hickey, Billy Dalton, Liam Casey and Bernie Irwin. Draw 25/11/2019, numbers drawn were 16-20-22-24, and there was no winner. €20 winners were SER, John & Chloe, Georgie Mills, Philomena Keane, and Davy O’ Keeffe. Next week’s jackpot will be €3,300.
Waterford Champions go down.
It’s seldom if ever that three of Waterford’s club hurling county champions reach the Munster final in three grades in the same year, but that’s what has occurred this year. Unfortunately after last weekend it’s now down to just one as both Ballygunner and Ballysaggart were narrowly beaten in their respective finals. Ballysaggart’s great run came to an end at the hands of Fr. O’ Neills in Dungarvan, while Munster champions Ballygunner lost by just a point to Borris Ileigh in Cork. It was a particularly impressive year for Ballysaggart who, despite having probably the smallest panel of players in the competition, somehow defied the odds to get to the Munster final, and certainly did not let down their supporters. St Mary’s are now the only team to fly the flag for the Deise when they take on Russell Rovers on Sunday week in Mallow. We wish them the best of luck.
