Club Notes: 3rd December 2013

Club Lotto.
The numbers drawn in last Saturday’s lotto draw were 4-10-24-25 and there was no winner. €20 winners were Teresa Ahearne, Clodagh O’ Keeffe, Mike Neville, Peggy Carrig, Mary Kate Kiely. Next week’s jackpot will be €13,600.

Deise Draw.
November’s Deise Draw was held last Friday night, and for only the third time in it’s history, the winner came from a Shamrocks ticket holder, namely Maureen Roche, Kilwatermoy, who bagged a tidy €10,000 first prize. Previous winners from the club were our long-serving treasurer Johnny Baldwin, who won a car back in the early days when cars were on offer, and more recently George Mills was also a ten grand winner, and now Maureen has joined that list. Well done Maureen, from all in the club.

60th Anniversary Photos.
Photographs that were taken on the day of our 60th Anniversary celebrations back in the October Bank Holiday weekend are now available from secretary Ann O’ Keeffe. You can choose from different sizes as well as the various selections available. Contact Ann on 058-56437.

Minor All-Ireland DVD.
Waterford’s glorious path to victory in this year’s Minor Hurling Championship has been captured on DVD, and is now available to buy from Tom O’ Donovan tel. 0876547032. Relive their thrilling march to All- Ireland glory in this well put together package from Colm Bannon and his crew at Club Deise. Should be a great record of a memorable year, and reasonably priced at €10.

Annual General Meeting.
This year’s Annual General Meeting of Na Seamroga C.L.G. takes place on Friday 13th December in the Shamrock Inn. This is the forum to discuss any matters pertaining to the club and it’s activities, but only if you are a member. which of course you can become on the night. And of course, all new members are welcome.
