Lotto
Numbers drawn on Monday the 4th of November were 7,18,23,25. The jackpot was 20,000 . There was no jackpot winner. €20 draw winners were Alan Kelly, Peggy Carraig, Jimmy Frewan, Sandra Giles and Ann Guiry. Next week's jackpot is €20,000. Lotto tickets are on sale from promoters and online. Online tickets are available from the Club Force app (Shamrocks GAA club Waterford) to play the lotto. Also if you play the lotto on clubforce, it is worth checking that your ticket has not expired. There is also a link to the club force app on Shamrocks website. Your support is greatly appreciated. With the jackpot now €20,000 a reminder if you're not in, you can’t win.
Cois Bhride Under 20's
Well done to the Cois Bhride Under 20's who defeated Brickeys in the Western Semi Final at the weekend. The Final will take place this Saturday, the 16th of September at 2pm against Dungarvan. Best of luck to all involved.
AGM
The Annual General Meeting of CLG na Seamróga will now take place on Friday 22th November 2024 at 8pm. Any motions should be submitted before Friday 8th November. Nominations for all officer positions should be submitted before Friday 15th November. Grainne Flynn is not going forward as Secretary for the 2025 season. All other outgoing officers are going forward again for 2025. Nominations can be sent to Secretary Grainne Flynn 086 8699776 by WhatsApp or by email to grainneflynn1@hotmail.com A private message by text is also acceptable. Nominations or motions should include the name of the proposer and seconder. Only fully paid up members in 2024 are allowed to nominate or be nominated.
Club Social.
A great night was had by all at our club social celebrating our 1984 and 1999 county final winning teams. Apart from the victorious teams, special presentations were made to the great Peter Power who coached the 1999 winning team. Also presentations were made to club stalwarts Jim Nicholson and Noel Tobin for the Trojan work they have done for the club . The club would like to thank the staff at The Park Hotel Dungarvan for making the night most enjoyable. A huge thank you to special guest Mark Landers where 1999 was a hugely momentous year for him also. A special thank you to the organising committee of Niamh Murphy, Grainne Flynn, Mike O'Neill and Thomas Baldwin who left no stone unturned making sure it was a hugely successful and enjoyable night
