Lotto
Numbers drawn on Monday 21st October 2024 were 1,4,8,17. The jackpot was 20,000 . There was no jackpot winner. €20 draw winners were Denise Meaney, Joey Ward, Martin Sheehan, Conor Goulding, Leonie Hayes. Next week’s jackpot is €20,000. Lotto tickets are on sale from promoters and online. Online tickets are available from the Club Force app (Shamrocks GAA club Waterford) to play the lotto. Also if you play the lotto on clubforce, it is worth checking that your ticket has not expired. There is also a link to the club force app on Shamrocks website. Your support is greatly appreciated. With the jackpot now €20,000 a reminder if you’re not in, you can’t win.
Deise Draw
Last Draw for Deise Draw 24 takes place on the 8th of November. Any outstanding payments please pay to any of the lotto promoters. Alternatively the Draw can be played online on Clubforce. More prizes to won in 2024 than other years. Almost 70% of ticket sales goes directly back to your club.
Club Social
Tickets for the November 9th social, celebrating our 1984 and 1999 county winning teams are now available to book from Niamh Murphy, on 087 9919696. Message/whatsapp preferable. Cost is €50 per ticket which includes a 4 course meal, band and DJ.
Tickets for the social can be paid for and collected in the meeting room of the KGK Hall on Saturday 2nd of November from 10am to 12pm. Closing date to book tickets is Saturday 2nd November!
Shamrocks LGFA
Commiserations to Shamrocks Ladies who were defeated by a strong Midleton side in their Munster Semi Final at the weekend. Nonetheless it was a huge success reaching a provincial semi final and also winning a county title for 2024. Something all involved can be immensely proud of.
Cois Bhride
Our Under 20 hurlers begin their championship this weekend as they face off against An Ghaelteacht this Sunday at 12 noon in Colligan. Best of luck to all involved.
AGM
The Annual General Meeting of CLG na Seamróga will now take place on Friday 22th November 2024 at 8pm. Any motions should be submitted before Friday 8th November. Nominations for all officer positions should be submitted before Friday 15th November. Grainne Flynn is not going forward as Secretary for the 2025 season. All other outgoing officers are going forward again for 2025. Nominations or motions should include the name of the proposer and seconder. Only fully paid up members in 2024 are allowed to nominate or be nominated.
